Mercedes is a 16 year old high school student in Oregon. She was born in California and moved to Oregon right before turning 11. Her friends in Oregon say that she dresses like a cali girl, whereas her cali friends describe her sense of style to be like an Oregon earth hippie! Some of her favorite pastimes are playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and meeting new people.
TB: What inspires your sense of fashion?
M: Without a doubt my older sister is the biggest influence on my [sense of style]. I've always looked up to her and she's always been model status in my eyes. We basically share a closet together and we go thrifting with each other as much as possible.
TB: How would you describe your sense of fashion?
M: I have no clue tbh! I try to choose clothes that give off a happy and lighthearted vibe. A lot of people tell me that I remind them of a type of modern hippie lol.
TB: What are your favorite articles of clothing/accessories?
M: A lot of [my] pictures include just my shirt and a lot of jewelry because I love jewelry. Jewelry is definitely my favorite accessory.
TB: Where are your favorite places to shop?
M: My favorite places to shop are value village (thrift shop), target, and nordstrom rack. You could say I'm ballin on a budget for sure.
